1. A matriarchy is a society in which females, especially mothers, have the central roles of political leadership, moral authority, and control of property.
2. One of the state in India where Matriarchal families are Found : (Kerala)
3. Indian Law (Matriarchal Social System) in : (Kerala)
4. A traditional Nair/Menon family is known as : (Tarawad or Marumakkathayam family)
4. This right was removed by : Kerala Joint Hindu Family System (Abolition) Act, 1975
